About
Our visual design solutions save marketeers and their clients' business from Obscurity by providing visual graphic assets that simplify their message through use of metaphor and resonating with their audience.
Heyo, Jeff here. I'm a visual creative who ironically has impaired vision and loves drawing, cartoons, and video games since being a kid. If I were to pick an adversity to challenge me everyday that could help others, then it would be visual communication.
I explore visual design solutions through creative curiosity to communicate ideas through strategic stylized metaphors using illustration, animation, and graphic design while considering user experience. In short, I enjoy making stuff look good to achieve its goal.
After many years working in PR and marketing creating visuals for in-house teams, I enjoyed cultivating a passion for overcoming aesthetic adversity. My role as the graphic artist is to direct the creative visuals to illustrate our messages in an appealing manner suited to our target audience.
So, how do we do this? Well we know that marketing is where art meets science. So if we combine the principles of 2D design, animation with motion design, and user experience, then utilize them appropriately, we can align these to our brand values and achieve our goals. Well designed graphics can do a lot of the leg work to relate some obvious questions Marketers need to translate to their client's audience; What does the Brand want to achieve (what is the Brand's mission statement)? Who is it for (identify our target audience and put yourself in their shoes)? How are we gonna achieve this mission (we need a strategy)? Where and when should we do it (what platforms can we utilize; and don't forget context matters)? And why should the audience care?
There is some wisdom to be shared and positive value to be gained in our adventures on marketing quests. We just need to show how the hero saves the victim from the villain.
One of the best ways to tie complex stories to metaphors is with character illustrations. Audiences can have strong connections with characters if they have relatable attributes.
